This
is a Brazilian .38 caliber double barrel pistol. Cartridge ignition, smooth
bore 5 3/8 inch barrels, a serrated knob on the underneath side of the receive
releases the barrels to tip up for loading. Notice the round butt, with a wood
bag type checkered course, about 1/4 " , in the center of each diamond
is a German silver tack. On the right side of the frame is engraved the word,
"GARANTE ": Portuguese for, "Guaranteed".
